I don’t keep all of my music on my iPod
. One, not all of my music is good to work out to. Really the only time I listen to my iPod these days is when I am working out. Second, between my husband and me we have more music than would fit on my iPod. So every so often I go out and update my iPod. I find forgotten gems to add or I go out and buy some new songs based on what I might have heard at the gym lately or from listening to a friend’s music collection. This month’s playlist is inspired by me recently doing an update to my own iPod. Hope you enjoy some of my old favorites, rediscovered, and some of my new favorites.- Funhouse by P!nk : She is a fabulous work out inspiration. She is in fantastic shape!
- Give It 2 Me by Madonna : I don’t care about the new British accent, she will always be amazing. Also has a body that should serve as work out inspiration.
- Call Me by Blondie : Classic song that I have always wondered why no one has covered. I can think of an artist or two that would do fantastic versions.
- Uprising by Muse : Rarely does something new on the radio catch my attention. This one did. Love it!
- Telephone by Lady Gaga : She is appearing more often than not on my playlists. She continues to grow on me.
- Shot In The Dark by Ozzy Osbourne : I am a child of the 80s, can’t help it. Seriously this one is fun to work out to.
- I Kissed A Girl by Katy Perry : I resisted this one for a long time. I realized finally that resistance is futile.
- 100% Pure Love by Crystal Waters : I dug this one out from my collection, wondering why it hasn’t been on my iPod before.
- Blue Monday (Album Version) [Explicit] by Orgy : Some might argue that the original version is better, but I really like this one.
- Son Of A Gun by Janet Jackson : I keep thinking the reference to Nick and apricot scarf will tell me who “You’re So Vain” is about. Rumor is David Geffen, though. Oh well.
